The Oliver Farm Equipment Corporation was formed in 1929.
They evolved from the development and sale of plows.
In 1930 Oliver built the 4-cylinder Oliver 18-28 tractor.
The company made smaller tractors than some of the other companies. But they had great engineering and made what you can call very "good looking" tractors.
The Oliver Farm Equipment Company became the Oliver Corporation in 1944.
